Hello brides, vendors and randoms,
I’ve had a super manic week, and I am exhausted, I still cannot seem to say NO to anything these days! I guess I am just wired that way, however, it’s all for the greater good. I’m working on some really exciting projects for www.brideclubme.com, and all will be revealed soon.
So, some of you may wonder how my wedding anniversary came by so quickly, after all, it was only a few months ago when I posted pictures from our special day. Well, like many expats out here, Adam and I legally got married before our wedding blessing in November, with friends and family. We married at the Jebel Ali Christ Church at the end of May last year, and in November, we had our wedding blessing at the Desert Palm Resort in Dubai.
We will celebrate May together quietly and our November blessing will be the biggie, as we considered that day our ‘wedding day’. We wrote our own vows, our family surrounded us and it was AMAZING! Both days were special in their own way, and we intend on celebrating both days in our own way too.

I am going to be pretty busy at the end of the month with a couple of projects, so Adam and I decided to go on a little road trip and stay overnight at the Waldorf Astoria in Ras al-Khaimah. I have been to the hotel already on business and loved it, but I will be writing up my experience and review on www.brideclubme.com in a few weeks.

So, I’m off now to get my beauty sleep, ready for a mini break with the hubby and to celebrate making it through the first year of marriage, he-he!….It’s only a day/night, but right now, I will take anything I can get! lol.
